Today’s world has witnessed significant developments and
changes regarding women’s status and conditions in various aspects of our
society. The increasing number of educated women, evolving knowledge and levels
of learning have rendered a mounting demand for women’s presence in the job
market. This development can be the source of widespread social and cultural
changes. In Iran, however, it is an entirely different story.
“Voice of Free Iran” (VOFI) is committed to unveiling the crimes of the theocratic regime ruling Iran. The VOFI is a group of Iranian dissidents who are opposed to the mullahs’ rule and are committed to echoing the Iranian people’s call for freedom across social media. We aim to bring much-deserved attention to instances of execution, torture, discrimination, and devastating poverty. We aim to become a voice for the voiceless in Iran.

Iran: Not having $100 needed to be hospitalized, a man attempts suicide
Numerous Iranian
state-media outlets have reported a heartbreaking story on April 30 of a
45-year-old man committing suicide in a Tehran hospital. He had suffered
extreme stomach pains yet was not accepted into the hospital as his insurance
booklet had expired and he didn’t have the less than $100 cash needed to be
hospitalized. As he continued to suffer from his excruciating pains he threw
himself off the third floor and is currently in a coma. This man is married and
has two children under the age of 10.
The state-run
Hamshahri daily wrote on April 30 that this incident took place last Friday in
Tehran’s Milad Hospital. Ali Shafie entered the hospital asking for medical
care while suffering from extreme pain, eyewitnesses reported.

Iran: mullahs cast dark shadow over lives of deprived children
Very limited, yet vivid images of poverty and
depravity in Iran, including its schools, reflect a tip of the iceberg of this
horrific catastrophe. Schools in these areas are suffering from the lack of any
teachers, no classrooms and other necessary supplies.
Images of elementary schools in Sistan &
Baluchistan Province (southeast Iran) reveal how the regime’s senior officials
are plundering the people of their God-given wealth. This regime, bent on
plundering the Iranian people of all their assets, resorts to cementing a
climate of fear through oppression, torture and daily executions.

International Labor Day in Iran, solidarity amongst all walks of life
International
Labor Day
We are nearing May 1st, marking International Labor Day,
and each day there are new calls from laborers to stage marches and protests
against the ruling mullahs’ cruelty and oppression. In solidarity with laborers
across Iran, college students condemned the cruelty and oppression imposed on
Iran’s laborers and called for solidarity from all walks of life. This includes
students of South Tehran Free University who issued a statement in this regard:
“We, a group of students of Tehran Free University, congratulate our country’s
dear workers on International Labor Day and condemn the cruelty and oppression imposed
against you under the mullahs’ regime. We call on all international
organizations and anyone across the globe that are active in labor affairs to
take action to improve the conditions of laborers.”

Iran: When a street talks
Iran: abandoned children left in
street
Poverty
in Iran
An abandoned new born baby was
placed in a trash bag on April 4th and left in front of a hospital in the city
of Mahshahr, Khuzestan Province, southern Iran.
Perhaps one would say the phenomenon of abandoned children is nothing new and
happens every day in the four corners of the this cruel world. Poverty or even
family problems are usually the main cause of this heartrending story.
Although poverty is also one of the main factors behind unwanted children in
the mullahs’ ruled Iran, but there is another frightening reason behind leaving
the most vulnerable and innocent human life at the mercy of the chance in the
winter cold or summer heat.

The silent torment of Iran’s “butterfly children”
A new photo report from Iran provides a shocking glimpse into the extraordinary suffering that some impoverished children south of Kerman, south-east Iran, are facing.
These children are suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), known commonly as butterfly disease, and their suffering is ever greater as a result of lack of proper healthcare provided to them by the mullahs’ regime.
The photos have been published in a number of state-run websites, including the Fars news agency, since April 5.

Why Are Juveniles Committing Suicide in Iran?
This article is originally published in LGF by Pejman Amiri
Recommend you to read and share
It has unfortunately become quite ordinary to talk about the skyrocketing number of executions in Iran, and common knowledge states more than 2,300 people have been executed since Iranian President Hassan Rouhani took office in August 2013. As horrific as this is, there are crimes in Iran never seen or mentioned. One such subject is how the ruling mullahs sitting on the throne in Tehran are forcing people, and even juveniles, into suicide.......

May a day come that we get our New Year presents?
I’m the one
in the middle
My father is
unemployed and cannot afford buying me a present.
He would pay
for my mother’s surgery if he had any money.
I do the
same as my friends. We look in the garbage hoping to find something.
More than
3 million kids in Iran are out of school trying to make some money for the
family.
