Iran: Criminal orders to execute three Arab minority political prisoners; call to save their lives

of the religious fascism ruling Iran has condemned to death three young political prisoners from Hamidiyeh of Ahwaz (southern Iran). The names of these prisoners, from the Arab minority, are Qais Obaidavi, 25, B.A. in Law, his 20-year-old brother Ahmad Obaidavi, and their cousin Sajjad Obaidavi, a law student. They are charged with so-called “Moharebeh (enmity against God)” and “corruption on Earth.”

US administration’s persistence to sell the world the idea that the final nuclear deal will bring rulers in Iran to propriety of behavior led to a meeting in London on May 12^th in which US Secretary of State John Kerry tried to persuade European financial institutions to facilitate business with Iran. Mr. Kerry did not come out of the meeting as a winner. International sanctions imposed over Tehran’s nuclear activities were lifted in January, but other U.S. and European sanctions remained unchanged. A few days later on May 17 David Lipton, the first IMF senior management official to visit Iran since the 1979 revolution, said in an interview in Tehran, “The best thing the government can do, and the banks can do, is to bring those standards up to international levels and try to reassure foreign partners, banks and otherwise that Iran’s banks are safe to deal with”.  As Bloomberg reported Lipton advised that “Iran must bolster anti-money laundering and terrorism-financing laws if it wants to reconnect to the global economy”.

IRAN: Municipal workers protest in Ahwaz

NCRI - protest in front of the municipality building in District 4 of Ahwaz, south-west Iran, demanding the release of their recently-detained colleagues.

During the protest, which was held on Wednesday, the workers claimed that no news has yet been released about the current condition of the detained workers.

One protester said: "After a one-day temporary detention at the police station, the detained workers were transferred to Sepidar Prison in Ahwaz on Tuesday (June 14)."

Seven juvenile offenders are planned to be executed by Iranian regime

The Iranian regime in yet another brutal measure has transferred 7 

juvenile offender to the solitary confinement for imminent execution.

As a step prior to carrying out executions, the fundamentalist regime of Iran moves the death row inmates to the solitary confinement a day or days before the sentence is carried out. The 7 are in what is called by Iranian people as Gohardasht prison or as it is called by the regime the Rajaie-shahr prison located some 20 miles northwest of Tehran in the city of Karaj.

Iranian Political Prisoner Goes on Hunger Strike To Protest Denial of Health Care

Prisoner of conscience Hossein Ronaghi Maleki has been on a wet hunger strike since March 26, 2016 to protest being denied medical care for his kidney disease, according to his mother, Zoleikha Mousavi.

“We had a face-to-face meeting with Hossein in Evin Prison on March 27. He told us that he had started a hunger strike and would not stop until they pay attention to his condition,” Mousavi told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran. “I’m tired of seeing my son go on hunger strike several times a year to get medical treatment. I want him free.”

Six Exclusive Documents Indict Iran, Hezbollah for 9/11 Attacks

Exclusively-obtained US court documents have exposed a link between Iran and the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The documents, published this week by pan-Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat, revealed that a New York District Court ordered Iran to pay more than $10.5 billion in damages to families of people killed in the attacks and to a group of insurers.

According to the newspaper, “allegations were built on information collected by military men who conducted interrogations with US detainees on Iranian affiliation with al-Qaeda.”

Amnesty International warns juvenile offender could be executed soon

Himan Uraminejad is on death row in Iran for an offence carried out when he was a child.

Himan Uraminejad aged 21 is on death row in Sanandaj’s Prison, western Kurdistan Province, where he has been told he will be executed after the Iranian New Year holiday period ends on 1 April.

Amnesty International has warned, “In its ruling, the court ignored the absolute prohibition, in international law, on using the death penalty against people who were under 18 at the time of the crime, and the fundamental principles of juvenile justice that require all those under 18 years old be treated as children,” .

Amnesty has called for an Urgent Action and added, “Amnesty International has recorded at least 73 executions of juvenile offenders between 2005 and 2015. According to the UN at least 160 juvenile offenders are now on death row. Amnesty International has been able to identify the names of 49 of these juvenile offenders, some of whom have been on death row for over a decade”.

 Blogger Hossein Ronaghi was arrested in December 2009 by IRGC intelligence on charges of “insulting the Supreme Leader, Khamenei” and “insulting the President Rouhani”. He was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.

Ronaghi is afflicted to several physical deficiencies such as respiratory, heart problem, kidney disorder, stomach bleeding and . . . , but the prison authorities neither provide him with medical services, nor allow him to go to hospital on his own expenses. Further he is kept among ordinary and criminal prisoners.

Ronaghi started a hunger strike on Saturday March 26^th to protest Khamenei’s agents depriving him of medical attention. Ahmad Ronaghi, Hossen’s father, has announced that he would also go on hunger strike if his son’s demand for medical attention is not met.

Mullahs in Tehran: untamable and far from today’s global community

The West’s appeasement policies and constantly turning their backs and neglecting Iran’s never-ending crimes, meddling and warmongering in the Middle East during the past few years have failed to tame the mullahs in Tehran and alter its destructive nature. This major regional dilemma continues to threaten the international community.

This regime, thriving on two central tenets, continuously oppresses individual and social freedoms inside Iran. This is seen clearly in the 2,300+ executions under the tenure of the “moderate” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, people deprived of their freedoms and God-given rights, growing poverty and skyrocketing unemployment.

Cancel Rouhani’s trip to Austria,

“Any relations with this regime should be preconditioned to the annulment of the death penalty in Iran and this regime’s interference in the region”.

National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has called on the Austrian government to cancel the upcoming trip by Iranian president Hassan Rouhani.

NCRI said in a statement.

“At a time when western countries have been silent regarding the barbaric violation of human rights and crimes of the Iranian regime in Syria, Iraq and other regional countries, welcoming Rouhani and other leaders of this regime will encourage them in the violation of human rights in Iran, as well as in the export of terrorism, fundamentalism and warmongering in the region and the world”.

United Nations Human Rights Council lashes out Iran’s human rights abuse.

A resolution presented by 39 UN members to extend “the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights” in Iran for “a further period of one year” was ratified by UN human Rights Council on Wednesday March 20.  Mr. Ahmad Shaheed resides at his position as the Special Rapporteur on Iran for the 6^th consecutive period.
