British politician Sir David Amess has pledged his support to the upcoming Free Iran gathering and called on his colleagues throughout Europe to do the same.
“Voice of Free Iran” (VOFI) is committed to unveiling the crimes of the theocratic regime ruling Iran. The VOFI is a group of Iranian dissidents who are opposed to the mullahs’ rule and are committed to echoing the Iranian people’s call for freedom across social media. We aim to bring much-deserved attention to instances of execution, torture, discrimination, and devastating poverty. We aim to become a voice for the voiceless in Iran.

Iran: amputation hand of a defendant as punishment
Cutting hands and limbs of
defendants are still a common punishment in Iran
The medieval punishment of cutting
hands and limbs of defendants are still a common means in Iran run by the
clerical regime. This practice which has been condemned by all international
rules and regulations is most of the times done in public and in front of eyes
of innocent bystanders including children and women.
Recently in the city of Mashhad, north-east Iran the fingers of a defendant in
his 30s was amputated, the latest in a line of draconian punishments handed
down and carried out in recent weeks.
