More and more young men becoming unemployed in
Iran
Reza Rahmani, chair of the Iranian Parliament
Industrial Commission said, “All industrial ministries must get to work because
the unemployment alarm has been sounded, because in addition to the other
unemployed people, we now have more than 5 million educated unemployed people
across the country.”
Speaking on Saturday night in the regime’s
Chamber of Commerce session in the city of Tabriz (northwest Iran), Rahmani
said Iran is now 117th in the world in employment.
“In an atmosphere where our industry is full of
corruption, inflation and poor employment conditions, there will be no growth…
other than the [Iran-Iraq] war period, we have never faced such difficult
recession and economic dilemmas,” he added.
7 million unemployed youths in
Iran
Mullah Mesbah Moghadam, a member of the Iranian
Parliament Budget & Planning Commission said on Sunday in a speech in
Isfahan, “The country is suffering from severe recession. We have 7 million
unemployed youths. Salvation means being saved from economic recession that our
country is currently suffering from in major economic proportions,” he said.
“Currently, our villages are being emptied due to
lack of jobs, water and other shortages. If these residents are supported and
provided with education, and if there is a joint effort in this regard, they
will provide for their own needs, and those of the entire population,” he said
in remarks criticizing Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s policies.
