Iran: undeclared arrest of teenager by the clerical regime in Ahwaz


 February 8, 2016 -  Human rights advocates report that Hamze Hosseinzadeh, 17, from the city of Mahshahr, southern Iran was abducted by plainclothes agents a few days after trampling a flag of the Islamic republic, His family had no information of his whereabouts for a year. They went to various hospitals and prisons seeking information about their child until they received a phone call from the Ahwaz Intelligence Department informing them their son is held in an intelligence prison

In recent years a number of Iranian Arabs have been killed under torture, including Gheiban Abidwai in Hamidiye, Mohammad Chaldawi, Reza Moghamesi, Mohammad Ka’bi and others, all from southwest Iran.
