Paris: Khamenei image posted as press freedom enemy #1

Paris streets witness images of Khamenei as enemy of press freedom

Images of Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei has been posted in the streets of Paris as press freedom enemy #1.
Marking ‘Press Freedom Day’, Reporters Sans Frontiers launched a campaign on Tuesday, May 3rd condemning regimes oppressing press and media freedoms.
A French graphic company has for the fifth consecutive year voluntarily installed related posters in this regard throughout the streets of Paris. These posters include images of 12 regime leaders identified as enemies of press freedom. Khamenei is amongst the 12 such figures whose images were seen in these posters.

This poster also explains how journalists in Iran are interrogated, tortured and accused of charges such as espionage.

Iran: What did cartoonist say upon release?

“Some people may think that art cannot express protest or it cannot be so important… But I believe, an artist’s responsibility is to challenge and be challenged.

When you are being challenged, the price may be very heavy. It may be prison or many other things… However, we must remember that every artist has a mission,” said Atena Farghdani, the young artist as walked out of jail.
Ms. Faraghdani spent 18 months in prison for exercising freedom of expression and painting cartoons critical of the government.

Mr. Gérard Deprez, Head of the Friends of a Free Iran at the European Parliament, wrote to EU High representative on Foreign Affairs, Federica Mogherini, before her trip to Iran on April 12, 2016, and asked for Ms. Faraghdani's release.

Iran: Not having $100 needed to be hospitalized, a man attempts suicide

Numerous Iranian state-media outlets have reported a heartbreaking story on April 30 of a 45-year-old man committing suicide in a Tehran hospital. He had suffered extreme stomach pains yet was not accepted into the hospital as his insurance booklet had expired and he didn’t have the less than $100 cash needed to be hospitalized. As he continued to suffer from his excruciating pains he threw himself off the third floor and is currently in a coma. This man is married and has two children under the age of 10.
The state-run Hamshahri daily wrote on April 30 that this incident took place last Friday in Tehran’s Milad Hospital. Ali Shafie entered the hospital asking for medical care while suffering from extreme pain, eyewitnesses reported.

The Mullahs of Iran and Daesh (ISIS): Who is worse?

Children undergoing training by the mullahs ruling Iran
to export their terrorism to Syria and across the Middle East

The terrorist regime ruling Iran has recently launched a wave of measures in its terrorist workshops, and provided a significant amount of propaganda for this very purpose. The mullahs’ have now been seen training and preparing juveniles, lower than the legal age, for a fate that has become crystal clear for all throughout the globe.
What future do the ‘Godfathers of Daesh-ISIS’ (as the mullahs’ are dubbed by the people in Iran) have in mind for these children? Instead of sending them to schools to receive the education they need, they are provided various military trainings, how to use an assault rifle and even fire a rocket-propelled grenade. This includes children under the age of 10. For what unconventional battlefronts are these children being trained for? In what country lies the root of Daesh’s expansion and growth throughout the Middle East and across the globe?

Aleppo burning in flames, where is our humane conscience?

Unprecedented inaction seen from Western countries in the face of crimes in Syria
Vicious airstrikes targeting Aleppo and the barbaric massacre of civilians, especially women and children, by Bashar Assad, the inhumane mullahs in Iran and their allies and proxies, are without a doubt an unprecedented war crime and the great tragedy of this century. This has truly outraged the conscience of modern day humanity.
The rise and expansion of Daesh (the Arabic acronym of the self-proclaimed Islamic State, or ISIS) in the region, the wave of terrorism engulfing Europe and the never-ending lines of refugees seeking shelter in Europe are all the immediate results of leaving these crimes unanswered. This trend by the Syrian dictator, Iranian regime and its proxies in the region has continued for over five years.

Mullahs’ using religious beliefs to send teenage boys to Syria war

This is an old, deceitful measure resorted to by the rulers of Iran to lure the general public – taking advantage of their religious beliefs – to provide the soldiers they need in their ongoing wars.
30 years ago these same mullahs faced a major troop shortage and were in desperate need of cannon fodders for their war against neighboring Iraq. Back then they also resorted to such a filthy tactic to dispatch under-aged teenage boys to the frontlines of that horrific war. Boys mostly below the ages of 12 to 14 were essentially used in the frontlines to pave the path through minefields. Revolutionary Guards commanders would wrap these youths in blankets and force them, in large groups, to run through minefields and literally “open” a path for their advancing military columns.

Iran: “sensible” security threats make “insensible” patrols a necessity

The atrocity of thousands of spies and repressive agents dispatched by the mullahs’ regime in Iran under the pretext of ‘insensible’ patrols, used to impose a climate of fear and crackdown, has reached such an embarrassing height that senior Iranian regime officials are pointing fingers and blaming each other for its dire consequences. As this plan was announced by Tehran police chief Sajedinia, Iran’s judiciary chief came to the scene saying,”Mal-veiling and having no hijab at all is considered a crime.
