Another sets herself ablaze

 February 8, 2016 - A young woman committed suicide using a hunting rifle in Kermanshah, western Iran.  The innocent victim had no mental or family problems, and was in good physical health. 

This incident comes just one week after a pregnant woman in the city of Mariwan, in the Iranian Kurdistan committed suicide and ended her life. A 26-year-old woman in a town near the city of Mariwan, , committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on Sunday, February 7th,. Poverty and unemployment has been described as the reason behind this heartbreaking loss.

The number of suicides and people setting themselves ablaze, especially amongst young women, is on the rise due to vicious crackdown measures by the state. This is being described as a catastrophe in Iran.
