Up to noon this morning
Iranians have largely boycotted the sham twin parliamentary and Assembly of
Experts elections, based on a statement issued by the Iranian Resistance.
Polling stations in Tehran and many other cities are vacant, according to
numerous reports received from inside Iran.
The candidates of rival
factions consist of individuals who in the past three decades played the main
roles in the religious fascism ruling Iran. For example, the Rafsanjani-Rouhani
faction has three ministers of intelligence, including Mohammad Mohammadi
Reyshahri, Ghorban-Ali Dori Najaf-abadi and Mahmoud Alavi. Ali Raizani is a
criminal judge who has played a key role in the past three decades in executing
and massacring thousands of people in Iran, and the export of terrorism abroad.
The rival slate consists of
Mohammad Yazdi, Mahmoud Shahroudi and Sadegh Larijani, three judiciary chiefs
of this regime, meaning the apparatus responsible for murders, crimes and
execution. This slate includes Guardian Council chief Ahmad Jannati, and Mesbah
Yazdi, known as the head of the most fascist factions of the mullahs’ regime.
Their actions, from both factions, are without a doubt crimes against humanity
and must be placed before justice.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi,
President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, said in relation to the sham twin
parliamentary and Assembly of Experts elections: “The result of this farce
election, lacking even the least of credibility in the eyes of the Iranian
people, whatever it may be, will weaken the religious dictatorship, intensify
the internal crises and redouble the population’s abhorrence over the mullahs’
ruling corrupt and criminal factions. This sham election has no victor inside
the regime and the entire regime will be the loser. Both the people’s hatred
and abhorrence regarding the mullahs, and the ruling regime’s internal divides,
will deepen and intensify.”
