Kordpa News Agency wrote in its website that majority
of the political organizations in the Iranian Kurdistan are boycotting the
elections and have asked the people not to show up at the ballot boxes.
“Voice of Free Iran” (VOFI) is committed to unveiling the crimes of the theocratic regime ruling Iran. The VOFI is a group of Iranian dissidents who are opposed to the mullahs’ rule and are committed to echoing the Iranian people’s call for freedom across social media. We aim to bring much-deserved attention to instances of execution, torture, discrimination, and devastating poverty. We aim to become a voice for the voiceless in Iran.

Syrian political prisoner on hunger strike in Iran
Ramadan Ahmed Kamal, a political prisoner from the city
of Kubani in Syria, held in Iran
Ramadan Ahmed Kamal, a political prisoner from
Syrian detained in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Iran, is on hunger
strike protesting authorities’ refusal to provide him any medical care.
It is worth noting that this political prisoner
is from the city of Kubani in Syria. Back in 2008 he had mistakenly entered
Iran with three Kurdistan Workers Party members and was arrested by Iranian
border guards.

Iran: Kurdistan people boycott regime’s Feb. 11 ceremony
On Thursday,
February 11th marking 37th anniversary of the 1979
revolution in Iran that toppled the Shah’s regime. Prior to this day regime
officials, Friday prayer imams and especially Revolutionary Guards commanders
in Kurdistan had in the past few weeks resorted to ridiculous remarks
describing this year’s anniversary as “epic” and … inviting the people of
Kurdistan to take part in the government ceremonies.
