Tehran – Report on deceptive measures practiced by the Iranian regime in
Evin Prison to divert attention of foreign visitors.
According to reports received from inside the mullahs’ regime, Evin Prison
officials have launched a pool complex and professional sauna in this jail to deceive
visiting international monitors.
This deceitful plan was executed by former Evin Prison warden Ali Ashraf
Rashidi. He used the financial budget of various prisoners, including Shahram
Jazayeri, to renovate the existing pool in Evin Prison into a fully equipped pool
complex and professional sauna.
It is worth noting that to this day none of the prisoners have been allowed
to visit or even see this so-called sports complex, and the MOIS/VEVAK used the
pool and sauna to decorate Evin Prison and mislead international monitors in an
attempt to portray Evin Prison as a hotel.
The prisoners say despite the fact that Evin’s warden and officials are
depicting this dungeon as paradise, they themselves are not willing to stay one
night at this “hotel”.
The prisoners go on saying let’s presume Evin Prison is a hotel; are the
notorious wards of 240 and 209 (belonging to the MOIS/VEVAK) and 2A (belonging
to the Revolutionary Guards) considered hotel suites? Are the tortures actually
the kind servants of ‘Evin Hotel’? Are the ‘Islamic revolution’ courts and the
non-independent appeals courts branches 36 and 54 in Tehran considered part of
the special services and reservations of this hotel?
