Iran: I am a teacher, for my human dignity



Mahmoud Beheshti Langaroudi, an arrested member of Iran’s teachers club, was denied to see visitors as he refused to wear prison uniform. At last prison suppressive authorities gave in to his demands. On Saturday, March 12th, Mahmoud Beheshti met his family while wearing ordinary clothes.
Mahmoud was arrested in this year’s Iran’s nationwide teachers strike. “I am a teacher, for my human dignity I refuse to wear prison uniform”, Says Mahmoud. 




Iran - Workers’ protest in Assalooye


Saturday morning, March 13th – About 500 workers In Assalooye industrial city, south of Iran, gathered to protest for their unpaid wages and other suspended payments.
One weed before the New Year, these workers have not been paid yet.


Iran – Government suppressive forces open fire at car in Bloochestan



 A large number of people in the city of Chahbahar, in the south East province of Bloochestan, blocked the high way leading to the city to protest the shooting on Thursday March 10th at a car by government agents.
The demonstrators demanded the governor to appear before the people and provide explanations on the suppressive police’s actions.


 Iran - No news of seven detainees in Kurdistan


 Government authorities in Saqiz, in the province of Kurdistan, refuse to give out any news concerning the whereabouts of seven Iranian Kurdish citizens who were arrested in a family party on Sunday February 14th.
One of the detainees is Saman Pashaii, a former Asian wrestling champion, who is now a professor at Saqiz University.
