Agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of
Intelligence (MOIS/VEVAK) in Iranshahr Central Prison (southeastern Iran) have
tortured to death an Afghan national by the name of Abdullah Nouri-zehi,
reports indicate. Signs of burns were discovered throughout his entire body
along with other marks of torture. State agents had recently transferred this inmate
to Iranshahr Central Prison. Other prisoners, abhorred of the horrific torture
signs, protested these inhumane measures by the prison guards and officials.
There is no information on why this Afghan
prisoner was arrested and tortured.
