Syamak Abdollhpoor an Iranian citizen from “Bizhway” Village in the suburb of the Kurdish city of Sardasht, a refugee in Denmark, lost his life in “yuland” camp due to cardiac arrest and the lack of proper medical equipment in the camp.

Tehran – People protest weak emergency relief services on the road to Firoozkooh

Heavy snowfall on Feb. 12^th caused a lot of trouble for passengers travelling on roads connecting Tehran to Firoozkooh, and to Chaloos and also the road between Karaj and Ghazvin, north of the capital.  The main cause of trouble was, however, not the snow but the lack of emergency relief services by the Police and the mayor.

Iran retirement fund is bankrupt

The spokesman of Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet admitted the country’s retirement fund is completely bankrupt and if serious measures are not carried out quickly the country will be facing major problems very soon.

“Currently the government is decreasing retirement pensions from employees to pay the annuity of seven retired individuals,” said Mohammad Bagher Nobakht.

More than 70% of factories & companies closed in NW Iran city

More than 70% of all companies and factories in the Ardebil complex industry have been forced to close down due to the Iranian regime’s atrocious policies, reported a company owner from this city located in northwest Iran. This includes the Sabalan Textile Company, being one of the largest companies in this industrial complex. This firm has not been able to provide its workers’ paychecks, leaving them no choice but to stage rallies outside the Ardebil governorate.

Iran: protesting for unpaid salaries by ocean industry workers

 Workers of Sadra Ocean Industry Company in the city of Booshehr in southern Iran gathered on Saturday, February 6th outside the regime’s governorate office protesting not receiving their wages for the past 8 months.

Sadra ship manufacturing company has around 1,500 employees working in various projects belonging to the company.

2nd day of strike, protests in northern Iran city fish market

Storeowners in the large fish market of Sari, northern Iran, half-closed or completely closed their stores at 8 am on Tuesday, February 9^th for nearly one hour. This was the second consecutive day that these storeowners staged such a strike.

Following a new law imposed by the regime for fishermen that has decrease their profits, many fishermen have gone on strike until this law is revoked or an article is added to provide a footnote that is in the economic interests of these fishermen, one of the storeowners said.
