300 workers of the “Asli” mine in Kerman Province, central Iran, staged a
rally on Saturday, February 13th protesting officials refusal to
provide their paychecks for the past two months. They closed the gates of this
mine, located on the Pabdana-Zarand road, saying they will continue their
strike until their demands are addressed. Saturday was the first day of their
strike.
“Voice of Free Iran” (VOFI) is committed to unveiling the crimes of the theocratic regime ruling Iran. The VOFI is a group of Iranian dissidents who are opposed to the mullahs’ rule and are committed to echoing the Iranian people’s call for freedom across social media. We aim to bring much-deserved attention to instances of execution, torture, discrimination, and devastating poverty. We aim to become a voice for the voiceless in Iran.
