Iran: IRGC training special terrorist units in Farur Island

IRGC admits training foreign terrorist in “special Nedsa unit”

On Monday, June 6th the commander of the Revolutionary Guards Navy admitted Iran is training foreign troops to carry out terrorist attacks abroad.
“Our special unit was both in operation and training mode, providing training in a wide variety of fields for various forces inside the country and abroad receiving training especially focused for special units…” Fadawi said in an interview with the IRGC-associated Fars news agency. “Foreign troops who could not speak Farsi would only repeat what their instructors were saying over and over again.”

In his remarks he makes it clear how the IRGC take advantage of foreign troops that have no knowledge of Iran’s language or culture, using them for terrorist training to carry out missions abroad, and even inside Iran.
“Arrangements have been made for a number of units to be formally established in the IRGC as rapid deployment brigades, one of which is the special Nedsa unit. Of course this unit will also bear the characteristics of a rapid deployment brigade and there have been cases where we have prepared to be deployed to far distances in a matter of a few hours,” he added.
9 years ago the IRGC allocated the abandoned Farur Island, located south of Iran, for the training of foreign mercenaries dubbed the Nedsa commandos.
