Iran: mullahs’ theoretical figure speaks of regime crumbling

Mullah Alamalhoda, a known theorizing figure of the mullahs’ mentality, posted a piece on his Instagram page on Friday, April 8th describing extortion, plundering and theft are considered lesser crimes than not abiding by the mullahs’ strict dress codes imposed on women.

Alamalhoda, who of course is more worried about the mullahs’ regime crumbling, made such remarks in response to a question about which being worse, improper veiling or extortion?
“A human being that steals from others, makes immoral remarks or takes a look at other people’s wives have committed crimes that only divert themselves. Whereas improper veiling is a crime that makes a tool out of a human being, allowing the devil to deviate others,” he said.
“A woman or a girl who has lost her hijab and puts on makeup, in addition to the fact that she herself has sinned, hasn’t she provided the means for at least 100 others to commit immoral measures, and isn’t this the worst crime?” he continued.
These reactionary remarks made by Mullah Alamalhoda has raised much anger and negative responses in the press, forcing him to take back his remarks after around two weeks, saying others wrongly interpreted his words.
However, Alamalhoda, as Khamenei’s representative, once again showed another perspective of his nature in saying:
“Moral and economic corruption are linked to one another, and the keyword here is improper veiling. The keyword of social security is confronting the issue of improper veiling. To realize social security one must confront improper veiling as the source of all corruption in our country. I express my gratitude to the police that has engaged this subject with all its power and proper planning, taking firm action, because the police is responsible for establishing social security. The Department of Social Security has reached this conclusion that social security is needed to uproot corruption in our society. We must confront improper veiling because the element behind all these problems is improper veiling of women running wild here and there, and action must be taken in this regard.”
Therefore, Alamalhoda, as a theoretical figure behind social crackdown in Iran, has not only refused to back-down from his previous remarks, he has actually raised them in a different manner and raised the tone under the cover of escalating security in Iran. What he means to say is if we downgrade social crackdown against women, the security of the Islamic republic of Iran will face the threat of being overthrown.
