Mullahs in Tehran: untamable and far from today’s global community

The West’s appeasement policies and constantly turning their backs and neglecting Iran’s never-ending crimes, meddling and warmongering in the Middle East during the past few years have failed to tame the mullahs in Tehran and alter its destructive nature. This major regional dilemma continues to threaten the international community.
This regime, thriving on two central tenets, continuously oppresses individual and social freedoms inside Iran. This is seen clearly in the 2,300+ executions under the tenure of the “moderate” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, people deprived of their freedoms and God-given rights, growing poverty and skyrocketing unemployment.

Throughout the Middle East all meddling, export of terrorism, warmongering and dispatch of armed militias trace back to Iran. Such documents and evidence are crystalizing on a daily basis. The unreasonable and seemingly endless war of attrition in Syria, the shaky and brittle government in Iraq, and the deadly turmoil in Yemen are all the end-results of Iran’s direct interference in the region, spreading lethally as snake venom.
Bombings and terrorist attacks in France and Belgium, and/or ballistic missile launches in Iran, after last year’s pivotal nuclear agreement, have raised immense anger and legitimate questions over Iran’s policies vis-à-vis the West.
At a time when the regime in Iran is in desperate need of vast concessions from the international community to prevent the crumbling of its own establishment, why does it blow such opportunities?
We may find the answer in the mullahs’ aggressive and expansionist nature. In their own wards these measures have roots in their ideology and belief to conquer the entire world, in line with their claim of receiving written orders from God…
Recently Bruce Theft, ex-CIA chief of covert operations, said in an interview with the pan-Arabic “Asharq al-Awsat” daily made startling revelations over Iran’s logistical support for 9/11 and providing safe haven for the terrorists involved. Iran played a role in the 9/11 planning and established very close relations with senior al-Qaeda officials during the process.
At a time when people in Brussels and across the globe are in grief and shock over the inhumane bombings and killings of innocent people in the capital of Europe, the mullahs’ in Iran in their state TV airings are actually holding the Belgian government itself responsible for this incident.
“Certainly, they have planted the seeds of an uncontrollable phenomenon,” (Iran state TV – March 23, 2016).
“The people of Brussels have now experienced a few hours of the horror the Syrian people have felt during the past 5 years as a result of their policymakers’ meddling,” (Iran state TV – March 22, 2016).
On the contrary, remarks made by Abdullah Shaichi, a professor of political science in Kuwait University in an interview with Al Jazeera TV are quite interesting.
“Polls questioning 1,770 people in Arab countries showed 77% of all individuals consider Iran the main regional threat,” he said. “10% said U.S. drawing back from the region, and 7% viewed ISIS as the main threat facing the Middle East. Washington believes ISIS is the essential threat and Arab states must join its war against this terrorist group. Of course, this is a dangerous difference in opinion that leads to adopting different strategies.”

As long as Western powers continue to neglect the root of the problems in the Middle East and beyond, being none other than the regime ruling Iran, not only will we continue to fail to achieve global security, the lack of such resolve will render further attacks by Iran-backed extremists.
