Iran: political prisoner Arzhang Davoudi in Tehran sends message on regime’s sham twin elections

These days various types of trumpeters associated to the illegitimate mullahs’ regime, whom are most definitely linked to the Revolutionary Guards and Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS/VEVAK), have restarted their street theatrics under the pretext of election campaigns. They are calling on people to show up and vote, at a time when those truly struggling for the Iranian people, and the true political prisoners, are all behind bars. These thieves who are seeking to gain seats in two different assemblies of this regime, have no intention to serve the Iranian people. In fact they are seeking their own profits and protecting their rule, which they have wrongly stolen form the Iranian people.

These thieves, who rip people of their money in broad daylight, are very similar to the regime’s current officials and if they could, they wouldn’t move a finger for the people of this land. In the past 37 years they have proven how they simply cannot carry out anything positive.

To those Iranians who have been forced to the polling stations and to those going out of despair, rest assured there will be no result benefiting the Iranian people after this election.

Iranians who are aware will never fall for the demagogic theatrics of this regime in these so-called elections, and like all freedom thinkers in Iran’s history in the past 110 years, they will be boycotting these elections. It is crystal clear the results announced by the ruling regime will be completely untrue. There is no doubt that in less than 72 hours there will be ballooned numbers reporting a 10 million voter turnout, and they will be repeating these reports over and over again, just like the lies they have repeated for the past 37 years, despite all the poverty, corruption, inflation, unemployment, bankrupt factories, social damages spreading such as drug addiction, divorces and other crises increasing by the day inside the country and abroad.

Fellow countrymen,

The truth is the result of the 1979 revolution was anything but democracy, human rights and justice for us Iranians.

In fact, it resulted in a corrupt regime lacking any legitimacy that is clinging on to power through the use of force and crackdown against all intellectuals, teachers, artists, workers and other walks of life. Now, the only solution to obtain freedom from this regime under Khamenei is through a coordinated struggle and comprehensive effort for a third revolution in Iran, being the democratic revolution in Iran.
